Dr. Vijay Patel, DC, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® is dedicated to inspiring patients to achieve what they thought was impossible. Passionate about wellness and prevention, he specializes in sports medicine, helping athletes and everyday patients reach optimal health. Board certified in chiropractic sports medicine and electro-diagnostics with  additional certifications in acupuncture and postural exercise, Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in 1998. His personal journey into chiropractic began as a teenager when it helped him overcome shin splints and return to competitive running — an experience that drives his commitment to his patients. An active leader in the profession, he serves on the Illinois Chiropractic Society executive board and on a national board as Fundraising Chair for the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan, advocating for patients’ healthcare rights in both Springfield and Washington, D.C. Hannah Synon, DC

Dr. Hannah Synon, DC is passionate about helping patients advocate for their own health and empowering them to make informed decisions about their wellness. A graduate of National University of Health Sciences, she holds Webster Certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has a strong interest in chiropractic care during pregnancy. Her path to chiropractic medicine was deeply personal — as a child, she witnessed the transformative power of chiropractic care during her mother’s recovery from a serious car accident, an experience that inspired her career. Dr. Synon finds her greatest fulfillment not just in relieving pain, but in seeing patients reclaim their freedom and joy. Professionally, she is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society, the American Chiropractic Association, and the ICPA, and previously served as SACA President, traveling to Washington, D.C. to lobby for expanded chiropractic coverage. Alicia Geske, APRN

Alicia Geske, APRN is passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge to optimize their wellness, especially during challenging or painful times. With 10 years of experience as an RN and APRN  in both inpatient hospital settings and outpatient offices across multiple specialties, she brings particular expertise in cardiac care, joint and muscle injections, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Alicia’s approach to healthcare is rooted in evidence-based practice, focusing on wellness rather than just illness — treating every patient with the same care she would give her own family. She is excited to bring these skills to physical medicine, offering joint injections to reduce pain and promote healing alongside the benefits hormone replacement therapy. Alicia earned her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Lewis University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Illinois University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, painting, and spending time with her family, including bike rides, walks, and park district activities with her two young children. Minda Bautista, LPT

Minda Bautista,  MPT is dedicated to educating and motivating patients to become as independent as possible, improving their safety and quality of life. With over a decade of experience spanning outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings, she brings a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to physical therapy. Her expertise includes evaluation, individualized plan of care development, treatment, and discharge planning across a wide range of patient types, along with family and caregiver education and coordination with multidisciplinary care teams. She has held physical therapy positions giving her broad experience treating patients in clinical, home, and inpatient environments. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove and her Bachelor of Biological Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
