Helping patients advocate for their own health
Hannah Synon, DC
My mission: chiropractic care is crucial for optimum health and wellness. It is also important to help teach patients how to advocate for their own health.
Areas of Specialty
I recently completed the Webster Certification test through the ICPA. I have always been interested in chiropractic neurology and would like to pursue courses through the Carrick Institute in the future.
Why I Know I’ve Had a Good Day: The Fulfillment of Helping Patients Find Relief
As a chiropractor, I’ve dedicated my life to helping patients feel better and live healthier lives. But what truly excites me, and makes me know I’ve had a good day, isn’t just when someone’s pain decreases—it’s when they start living their life again with more freedom and joy.
Being able to help people is truly fulfilling. My motivation lies in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health, so they can live their best lives
The Power of Chiropractic Care in My Mother's Recovery
As a child, I watched my mother go through a difficult and painful recovery after a serious car accident. It was a time of uncertainty and fear, but I also saw something amazing: the power of chiropractic care. That experience shaped the way I view healing, and ultimately, it led me to pursue chiropractic medicine as my profession. If you or someone you know is struggling with pain or discomfort, I’d love to help you experience the benefits of chiropractic care. Together, we can work toward healing, restoration, and a better quality of life.
Education, Certification and Affiliations
I graduated from National University of Health Sciences, where I received comprehensive training in chiropractic care. I am proud to be a member of several professional organizations, including the Illinois Chiropractic Society (ICS), the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). These affiliations help me stay connected with the latest advancements in the field and ensure that I can provide the best possible care to my patients.
Community Service
During my time in chiropractic school, I had the honor of serving as SACA President, where I led efforts to advocate for expanded chiropractic coverage. As part of this role, I traveled to Washington, D.C., to lobby on behalf of the profession. Outside of my practice, I am currently a volunteer with Journey Care Hospice, where I offer support to patients and families during one of life’s most challenging times.
In My Free Time
I have been married since 2018, and my husband and I met at Mizzou. I love to travel, and one of my favorite memories is when I studied abroad in South Africa. When I am not busy, I love to make sourdough bread, and watch scary movies with a friend.
